Moonlight White/Graphite 6MT Sedan
Moonlight White/Graphite 6MT Sedan
Just dropped of my Moonlight White G37S Sedan 6MT with Graphite interior for lease return at Infiniti of the Palm Beaches....
If anyone wants to buy a used 6MT sedan, this is your car!

It was a rock-solid car. Only thing that ever went wrong was the slave cylinder on the clutch, and the center console creaked quite a bit, but the dealer replaced and all was well....
^What went wrong w the slave cylinder? Dropping clutch pedal?
What was the residual value after lease / did you consider a buyout? Probably exceptionally high since Infiniti residuals are non-negotiable and set prior to the Q50 release & G MSRP drop.
Plans for the future? 6MT is tough to replace if you want something similar, S4, 335i, ???

Residual after lease was 32K. Infiniti offered to drop the price by 4K, so it would have been 28K to buy it out.
My plans for replacement?
Well, I dont like BMW interiors, the new ones are nice but the new ones are also overpriced. I dont do Mercedes because they offer no MT. I do like Audi's styling inside and out, but I cant stand the way they drive, they understeer like a mother.
I actually found an '06 G35 coupe with 60K miles in MINT condition, with some very clean mods...so Im gonna pick it up in 2 weeks. Dude wanted 17K for it, I offered him 15 and he agreed.
Was it the dealership that offered to lower the residual, or IFS? How did you go about getting them to offer this? I believe I would like to buy out mine at the end of my lease but if I could get them to lower it I would be very happy to do so.

the dealer has a '10 moonlight white/graphite sedan on right now for $20,997! it has 29k miles on it. it's listed as a 7AT but i'm sure that is just a typo. that price is crazy low. doesn't really seem to jive with the OP's buy-out. unless they were really dinging him.
