like everyone said that IS250 is not a driver's car and understand why they feel insulted when you compared it to a G37.

that being said, the IS F looks good in numbers but I haven't tested it. The IS250 however, reminded me that underneath that luxury it is still a toyota...
Ehh, I would compare the ES 350 to the Camry but the IS is not even close to a Camry.

IS is either an AWD or RWD car and it has a double wishbone suspension. Camry and Lexus ES 350 is a FWD car and it has MacPherson Struts suspension.

How can you possibly trade a G37 for an IS250?

I used to have an IS350 AWD and let me tell you - compared to the my G37x, the IS350 was docile.

I cannot possibly understand how an IS250 with 200 horses and a paltry 184 lb-ft of torque can be fun (let alone comparable to a G37).

Well, some people prefer a quieter less sporty ride? I've driven both and they have their ups and downs.

The Lexus IMO has a better interior design than the Infiniti. It also is ranked higher than Infiniti for reliability and also branding.

I would have gone with the IS350 F-Sport if you properly want to compare to the G/Q, but as it goes for the OP switching cars and other members saying the front is ugly I say give him a little time to spend in the car to realize how quickly power goes from being secondary to primary. However good luck with the car as I have considered trading my 2011 IS350 AWD for the new F sports but money contraints wont let me.

Yeah I kid about the car being ugly as sin (it is) but I've test driven the car and it's steering felt shallow and not in tune with the road. As far as power it lacks the "get up and go" the Infiniti G37 has in it. Hate on us all you want OP, give it 6 months and you'll be trading that Lexus in.... unless it's a lease....then you'll just regret it..

The only thing wrong with the IS250 F-Sport is that it's not a IS350, but not everyone needs the power.

I think the front end of the Q50 is just as ugly as the new IS. Rear end is a different story.

I thought I read about someone on the Q50 forum that compared the IS F-Sport to the Q50 and said the IS F-Sport cannot get memory seats.

Im sorry, if Im paying for a luxury brand name, memory seats should be a standard thing. I know they arent standard on the Q50 but at least you can get them.

Considering the standard tires are all season, I kinda doubt it.

I would go crazy driving a car that offers acceleration on par with a minivan.

I also think the Q50 front end is ugly and overdone, but compared to the IS250 it is beautiful. I have had my 2010 G37 for 4 trouble/rattle free years. When I decide to trade for a similar vehicle it will be more likely an Audi or even an ATS.

IS350, maybe an F sport, will likely be my next car given the direction things are going. Could care less what the front of the car looks like...no impact to how much I like a car.

However, to your point, the Genesis Coupe has a build quality that doesn't stand up to inspection, and the Optima is FWD garbage.
