Thanks guys... I'm out!
To all of you fine gentlemen on the sedan forum, and myg37.com in general, I say thanks for all your help and advice over the years.
I traded the G today for a pickup truck. Driving that car around like Mario Andretti was going to kill me, or worse, someone else.
I got a new Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 with all the bells and whistles. It's slow as molasses compared to the G, but it can tow a bass boat.

Good luck on your next adventures, you were always a positive contributor to all discussions I saw you partake in. Your opinions will be missed. Also respect for realizing aspects about yourself and taking active measures to correct/prevent things for the future. It takes a big man to admit things like that.
I want to see pics of your new ride! I've always been a fan of the Tacoma. It's a tough choice to trade a car you really enjoy, but I respect people who make the responsible choice.

Nice truck! If I ever needed a pickup (probably never will), it would certainly be a Tundra. Also beautiful color
Although I'm surprised a car like a G sedan would test your limits (and control?) to drive safe. I get that it is pretty punchy, but it's really not that powerful or sporty in the grand scheme of things

I was driving dangerously. I'll leave it at that. A man has to know his limitations and I know mine.
good decision
In my younger years I had to push my car to the limits everytime I got behind the wheel and when I got married I had the sense to sell the 3000GT VR4 (which also got rid of an insurance premium that was higher than my car payment).
Now that my record is clean and I'm much more laid back when driving, I'm a happy owner of a G37x. I can't fault anyone for wanting to simplify their life and I may end up doing the same eventually

Nice truck Macs. I try not to drive like a ****, but these S. Florida drivers just bring it out of me sometimes. I'm a pretty safe driver most of the time. I think a little of that has to do with the fact I owe money on the car. I kinda think more about the consequences before I get dumb.
My brother has the same truck, but in black. Completely loaded, he traded in his 335i for it and doesn't regret it. I've driven his Tacoma a few times, I love it. Probably the easiest driving truck I've ever been in.

I applaud MACS decision to redirect his hobby interests.
