Why no 2014 G37's listed?

I understood the G37 was going to continue alongside the Q50 for 2014 and 2015. Even if there is not a single change, if new G37's are coming to dealerships, by January 11th shouldn't there by G37's listed as 2014's? Am I missing something?

listed as in where?

To my understanding, it depends on the area in which some 2014 G37s will be offered. Try contacting a dealer.

At least in my area only Q50 and Q60s

Its over for the G after 2014.... The new body type Q60 rolls out in 2015. Q50=sedan & Q60=coupe.

Oddly, there's a new G at my dealer that still has the paint protection tape on it, so I know it's a very recent arrival. It's a 2013. I also would have thought by now they would be 2014's.

I believe OP is referring to the G37 sedan, not coupe. I also thought Infiniti was going to continue production of the G sedan alongside the Q50 sedan and Q60 coupe. Change of plans?

I thought the same about the G. Guess all good things must come to and end.

Even though they're supposedly still producing G sedans maybe they're still referred to 2013 models so the dealer can say "I've got this shiny new Q w/ all these neat new tech features, or that clunky old 2013 G37 over there if you really want one of those"

Looks like they changed their minds about the G37 being a 2013 model. All that I found new are 2013 and last month they had on the Infiniti website the G37 sedan listed as a 2014 model. G37 sedan stays a 13, the coupe is a Q60 and the new replacement for the G37 is the Q50.

So it looks like they are leaving the G37 sedan as a 13 model and let it sunset at the end of 14.

Not surprising. Its like Mitsu does with Evos...they really only redesigned them every few years so they stuck with the same model year. I think they may have to redo crash certification, etc. if they change the model year.

Also, I think what they said is "continue production until 2015" which is not exactly the same as producing a 2014 model.
