Deleted my Muffler

I know a lot of people have already posted threads about what voids warranty and what doesn't void warranty. I heard that warranty can only be voided if the modified part is where the problem is coming from.

I want to delete my muffler and was wondering if any of you know if that will void my warranty.

Thank!

Deleting your muffler would have to be a direct cause of an issue.

Personally, do yourself a favor and don't ruin the integrity of your exhaust system. Go purchase the Top Speed exhaust system from eBay for about $450 and keep your OEM exhaust intact for when you want to put the car back to stock.

Is this the one that your talking about? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Infiniti-G35-G37-Sedan-07-12-Performance-Exhaust-System-Systems-Top-Speed-Pro-1-/370977804343?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5660001037&vxp=mtr
Would you say this sound is better than just a regular muffler delete?

I think it would look silly with no exhaust tips.

What about unbolting the mufflers from the y pipe, slip some washers between them, and bolt everything back together?

If I were to do a muffler delete, which I am rethinking now, I would have stock tips. I might just save up to get the ARK exhaust.

I like the sound of deleted muffler. IMO I'd keep the stock tips. Also, seems to me like deleting my muffler is the cheapest way to go to get a louder sound. I can get it done for $160.

You won't regret it.

Ive got a muffler delete with stock tips. I like the sound. Of course, I plan on doing a nice full exhaust system.. but this will work and sounds pretty good until then.

I also have a muffler delete with stock tips. But I did this to an extra set of stock mufflers because I wanted it to be something easily reversible. Here's a clip of how mine sounds.

SNIP!
Wow, sounds surprisingly like the coupe. I really like it. Doesn't sound overly raspy/tinny at all, which is what I thought a muffler delete would sound like.

Gotta admit that would seem to be beyond tacky, but it actually sounds pretty good

I don't see it as tacky as long as you take the time to put the extension pieces and tips in place. It does sound good.
