Go like a rocket was a relative term, but yeah, back in the day, the 302 pretty much ruled the streets. My buddy had a '91 GT, and it seemed so fast....until I got an LT1 f-body, and it just walked all over him. But nothing sounded as good as the 5.0
My old man recently traded in his '94 GT convertible with 20K miles on a turbo Bettle 'vert
In a few years, I hope to be in a position to fill the vacant bay in my 3 car garage, and something like a Mustang, perhaps in Boss trim, is going to be on the short list

Man, that's a tough trade going from a '94 with 20k miles to a 'vert Beetle.
That would be an awesome candidate to fill the third spot in your garage, Lego!

+1 on 80ft.lbs. that was always the rule of thumb when I did my 3 year stint at Discount Tire in college. You don't want to do 100 because over-torquing beyond the manufacturer's spec can cause the studs to shear off. I've seen that happen and it's a bit of a hassle if a wheel comes off while driving. Fortunately, studs are relatively easy to change.

A quarter past stripped
Okay, so the VDC will be left on and not played with as much..... Had a close one today, enough to shake me up and to respect the car a little more. Coming through a left turn I gave it a little more gas than needed and came VERY close to loosing control. A little nifty handling and I was back straight and true but I swear it would have been a scene for an action flick if a camera was rolling.
It's amazing how much that VDC limits or dumbs down the car.

In the right light and the right perspective, I like it a lot. A whole lot.
However, in other lighting and other angles, I don't like it at all.

Know what you mean. I'm sure you're cognizant of how angles and lighting affect photos, I'm usually skeptical of the phrase "photos don't do it justice" but in this case (as many others) it's tough to get an accurate visual of how this looks in person. If you can recall seeing an RS4 or IS-F up close, then this look is reminiscent
That said, certainly don't expect it to be everyone's (or even anyone's) cup of tea.
The G's OEM grille is a notable Infiniti signature, so making changes to it make a big difference to the look of the car (which looks great from the factory IMO). Took me a while to decide to ditch the OEM midnight grille, but finally went for it & luckily got some satisfactory results

Got my car aligned today. Great experience, I got to stay on the floor the whole time while the owner walked me through the whole process. He spent about 90 minutes working on it, and charged me $144.
I ended up at the following:
Front L/R
1.1, 1.0 camber
1/32 toe both sides
Rear
2.1, 1/16 both sides
He could have gotten the right sides to 1.8, but 2.1 was the best he could do on the left, so he recommended going 2.1 for both.
My wife and I have a kids free overnight tonight....running late to our couples massage, she asked me what I did to the car. She referred to it as a race car. Cornering speed is approaching ludicrous speed. She told me she was about to vomit.
Mission accomplished.
The koni + swift + swaybars + summer tires is unreal

Awesome to hear. You're going to be quite impressed at what you can do with that car now.
Now get yourself a FSTB. Cusco has nice, out-of-the-box fitment, but IMO the GT-Spec is more attractive, although a few dollars more.
