Nice upgrade. And it is loaded too. You made a good jump!
Thanks! I really like the RWD vs the AWD so far. I'll probably miss the AWD when it snows, but thats usually only a couple days a year. Do you think you'll go back to RWD?

LOL. Now you're just teasing him, man. That's cruel.

My guess is, if Wannabe could swing it, this would make him happy. I know it works for me.

Those Jag designers are going to be able to write their ticket anywhere, some of the nicest looking two doors on the planet.

I love the the new Jags. They even sound great too!

You have Hotchkiss sways right? How do you like them (or whichever you have).

Yeah. I'm using the app on my phone and it doesn't show signatures.

Congrats on the new ride! I have contemplated doing a similar swap from my 09 xS, but in Chicago the 6MT sport sedan is an elusive animal. Maybe I will upgrade one day!

Eibachs. You think your new S handles better than your xS did? Just wait until you replace the sport sways with aftermarket.

Oh yeah. It handles so much better. I broke the back end loose earlier. Talk about adrenaline rush.

Oh yes. But I would get the roadster so I can hear it when im running it through the gears. That F-Type is a work of art.

And yes, i'll be going back to RWD, but it won't be another G. It will be one of these.

Turn off the TC, and you can have all kinds of fun... if you don't mind losing a little rubber.

The G is actually a pretty heavy car, and you know it when you oversteer like that. Not that it isn't fun to chuck around, it's just not a sports car. In some respects, the RWD-Sport Sedan feels almost old-school musclecar-ish. Which is exactly why I like it. RWD, NA-power, 6MT... in a refined and upscale package that's neither showy or impractical.

Funny you should mention the G feeling like an old school muscle car... I was talking to a couple of guys at work the other day and made the comment thay the 350z and 370z are the Japanese version of a muscle car.

I need to find a secluded area that I can take my G and figure out what its limits are, and when I do I'll turn the TC off and give it hell, after all I do have brand new tires on it and dedicated summers waiting for March to come around.

I admire your consistency, seems you often promote use of 87 octane, by no means do I worry myself with something another member willingly does to his car, but you seem almost too ready to remind others about wasting money, saving $$$, etc.

Obviously the savings figure is dependent on your driving habits, but even if you drive twice the average driver, your savings by using regular gasoline will likely not be more than $300-400 per year, hardly much to brag about on such a consistent basis

That said, you obviously have your mind made, supposedly by empirical data, I tip my hat to your sir, hope your 401K is beating the market by enough points to make those few hundred worth it...

I'm far from a fuel expert, never bothered to research it much, but out of curiosity, why to you presume the manufacturer requires 91+ octane?

Thanks

(sorry if )

Pretty much sums up why I got mine (though if a "downscale" Nissan option was available, may have ended up with that, depending on looks)
