Goodbye G hello Q

So long MY-G37, HELLOOOOO Q50 Hybrid

It has been a pleasure sharing and learning with all of you guys here. I learned a lot from you guys and I can't thank you all enough.

I got a super sweet deal on the Q50 Hybrid with Deluxe package that I couldn't resist and got it.

I wish you all the best. I might visit every now and then to see what's up but I'll be at the Q forums from now on.

I loved my G but the transmission and the driving like a tank had me crying every time I took it out. Now the Q hybrid on the other hand is a completely different beast.

PEACE!

The Q50's styling and driving experience (or lack thereof, depending on your POV) has been beaten to death on this forum. However, I don't think anyone has given a clear assessment here on the Hybrid.

Thoughts on the Hybrid's performance, or are you still in break-in mode? I'm guessing you drove the Hybrid and 3.7 back-2-back, right? What were your impressions on the differences between the two?

I did drive them back and forth and the difference is sday and night.
The hybrid in standard alone is a beast and always ready to be unleashed compared to gasser. The gasser in standard felt exactly like my G which I did not like at all.

I litterly had a smile on my face when I drove the hybrid right after the gasser.

I think the $2000 difference on the hybrid is well worth the trade off.

I'm still in break in and getting used to all of the auto stop, steer, brake and iICC.

I'm looking for excused to go out for a drive lol.

Sounds like you're trying to say the Hybrid has more low-end torque. Hmm. That can be a rush.

Glad you're enjoying it. Did you buy the S model with the summer tires? Can you keep tire contact out of the hole with TC off?

I didn't get the S as I don't need it and the dealer was making a big fuss about it.

I actually had that name about a month ago on the Q forums.
1BadAssQ

The reason I didn't get the Q was because the dealer was playing tricks with me and wanted $512 for it. I love the front facia on the sport but besides that, nothing else interests me about the sport.
