Loaded G35S or G37?
If you guys had to choose, would it be an 08 G35S with sport, nav, tech and EVERYTHING or an 09 G37S with just premium and sport? I'd REALLY like to have an 09 with nav but can't find a used one anywhere with nav and sport. I'm not sure of the differences between the 35 and 37 performance wise. Can anyone give me the pros and cons of each? That radar cruise looks pretty neat on the 35 as well, but don't want to sacrifice overall performance of the car if the 37 is THAT much better...Thanks in advance.

Doesn't the 37 gets the huge hp boost? g35 would still retain that 280 while the g37 gets the 330 hp. i'd go for the g37, navigation u can hook up the G afterwards. think of it this way, it's easier and cheaper to get the navigation afterwards rather than the pain of modding for that 50 extra hp.

Their are a lot of G owners that spend tons of money adding new exhausts and air intakes hoping to boost their HP.
I'm sure most get no where near an additional 20+ HP, unless they go really big bucks and get a turbo or SC .
That would be a good enough reason for me to get the G37 over the G35.

I just traded an 08 G35x loaded with all packages except Sport.
If I wasn't upside down on the trade I would have just bought that car off lease (only 15,000 miles).
Since I needed to get a new car I was happy with the changes that the 2010 brought about (all of them relatively minor in my opinion) and am enjoying the upgrades.
Make sure you take a 2010 out for a test drive along with the 08. The 7 speed transmission is definitely not as smooth but it also gets an extra MPG or two over the 08. I'm still breaking mine in so I can't say anything about pushing it right now.
If the 08 is MUCH cheaper I would consider it. If not, I would go 2010. A loaded 2008G35x (Prem/Tech/Wood/Nav) with less than 20,000 miles should be listing at about $32,500 from what I saw when dealing with the sales manager. Of course, I wouldn't pay list but that should give you an idea. There were 2 in our geographic area that he looked up to see what he could do with a trade for me.
If it's within just a few thousand dollars I would probably go for new. There were incentives in June that MAY have carried over into July so check on that. If you can get special financing or factory to dealer incentives that should come into play off of the invoice price and overall cost.
Good luck with whichever way you go and keep us posted!

Don't know where you're at, but there's a pre-owned '09 G37S BK/BK 7-speed at www.infinitioftacoma.com. I believe there's also a white one in L.A. selling for a lot less and it has navi as well - check Craigslist (Los Angeles) for 2009 G37S.

Hope this is the right thread..Thinking about getting a 2011 G.37 Sport with AT..Sure it comes with Nav. Does the limited slip Diff help on standing start vs a regular G. 37?..Is Mobil 1 the best oil to use in them? Now driving a Altima 2007 SE 3.5.It runs good but think Id be happier with Rear wheel drive & AT. Thanks

Too much nonsense on this thread .. G35 is almost as fast as G37 and with exhaust/intake upgrade u'll get like 45 hp with a proper tune so it'll ran over a G37 anyday .. Also g35 HR sedan is faster than G37 coupe !
You just got a wrong image about 07-08 G35 sedans ! Come on .. They're vq35hr , not vq35de.
I thing you've got em confused with the -2006 DE models ..
That guy who said its 280 hp make me laugh really !
