leasing 6mt help

Hey guys I'm in search of a 6mt sedan
I have found a few dealers that are willing to find it for me and deliver but I need some help before hand with the price.
I'm currently leasing a 2010 sedan with nav for $379 a month and $4000 due at signing (I know I paid a lot lesson learned)
Now I see prices for a 13 sedan 6mt on truecar for $33500-35000 and the dealer I'm talking to currently is listed on truecar for $33500.

They tell me that the price listed is for buy and not lease. Where on truecar, it says the same price can be optioned for lease.

Can you guys shine your light on me on what you have leased and how much down payment you've given and what's your monthly payment.

I want to keep it in the $300s with zero down. Is it possible?ey guys, I posted this in buy and lease section but I got no love so I was wondering if you guys can help me out.

I've never leased but here is my $.02 to try and assist you.
Start on the internet and get quotes from three dealers.
Do not tell them you are interested in leasing.
You first tell them you are paying cash and what is the best itemized out the door price with vehicle price, delivery, doc fees, registration, and tax.

Only after you receive an itemized out the door price do you bring up the what if I wanted to lease this vehicle how much would the monthly charge be.
Keep in mind your credit score, money factor, mileage and term all get factored in to the calculations.
There are lease calculators out there if you search for them.
Educate yourself prior to leasing.

Good luck

$33500 is a fantastic price point. You could do well to take advantage of this fading moment in the G's life cycle with the last model 6MT. All the other talk about monthly payments is irrelevant. Salespeople absolutely love it when someone comes in with a monthly budget and asks them to fill it up with a car. It's like candy for them.

I agree with Telcoman. (Oh god, that hurt to write.)

I've posted it a few times but I forget exact figures...basically I walked out the door with my car at 38k or so with $2k down I pay $319 a month...12k miles a year, too...depending on your mileage needs I could see you getting away with a fair bit under $300 which is cray

$33500? I just threw up in my mouth a little. That's an unreal price for a new 6mt. That car in Canada is $50k+. If one was available that is. I would jump all over that deal if I was the OP.

OP, would you be interested in taking over my lease with about 2 years left on it?
Let me know, I've been considering letting go of it with all its goodies, just take over my lease at $470/month. I know its kind of high but you dont have to pay me a DOWN payment and you get the car with the $5000+ I have invested in it for free. I have about 14,000 miles on it right now. Let me know if you might be interested, I might actually consider doing this.

Money down on a lease is money flushed.

Having driven a Q50S, and owning a Sedan 6MT, all I can say about that opinion is...

Thanks guys for the inputs but I think I made my mind. I'm going to downgrade to an accord 6mt instead as for 6mt Gs are going super pricing right now.
I can't find anything less than invoice with $500 down and close to $400 a month with 10k for 24 months.

I know I got screwed on my first lease but not looking to do it again .

^ since you are out, provide details to the dealer offering a new 6MT for $33,500 in case others are interested. good luck with the Accord. a fine daily driver for those who can live with FWD.
