the amount of time you spent waiting on this, I really hope you found it and my post is unnecessary. It's under the dash on the drivers side. Should be on the left side below and near your hood release lever. Feel for it, it is pointed parallel with the gas pedal.

 

OBD-II ports are in the same place on every car.

This is true. I should have been more specific. They are in the same place on all of our cars; not every car manufactured. I presumed form context of the question and answer that people would know I was referring to G37s but I guess it needed clarification. Thank you.
