weathertech digital floor liners or something else

I've moved from a 2009 g37x to a 2013 g37x. I had the weathertech digital floor liners in the '09. I really liked the front ones, but the back ones were pretty disappointing.

Is there better alternative, or is weathertech the way to go?

I have OEM all weather mats, but I'm sort of disappointed in the quality. In 3 yrs of normal usage, the driver mat has a huge crater indent where my right foot is and is also cracked. I was thinking of trying Weathertech digital mats next.

My dealership threw in a set of the all season/rubber mats in addition to the stock floor mats.

The weathertechs from my '09 still fit, but I've switched from the wheat interior on the 09 to graphite interior on the 13. For aesthetic purposes I'll probably go with a new set of black weathertechs.

I've used Exactmats in all my vehicles and they work pretty well with our mild weather here in Socal: Clear Custom Fit Car Floor Mats | ExactMats.com

Not sure if they would be the best choice for mud and snow....

Those do look nice, but probably not that useful here.

We have to deal with the mud and snow, and even worse the salt. The weathertechs are really excellent with that, my carpets were nearly pristine when I traded the 09, except for the false pedal area, that got a bit nasty.

Your alternative is to mix and match. Use OEM all-weather mats in the rear, and WeatherTechs in the front.

My wife's car has WeatherTechs, and the rear mats have no fitment whatsoever. They're completely generic. The fronts, however, are perfect.

the OEM rubber mats have always worked great for me for 3 years in my G37, and 4+ years with my old G35. different mats for each car, obviously, but i've never had any issues with durability. and for $67 i can't complain about the price. they came with the G37 logo and fit perfectly.

Really? Had my OEM all-weather mats (Black) over 3 years and they look like new, will be transferring them to my new 24-month lease soon.

Yeah... i'm not sold one way or the other yet.

I can use my weathertech front mats as they fit, color wont match but whatever. Maybe I can sell the old ones here and get some matching ones.

So when you guys are talking about the OEM all weather mats, are those the rubber ones, or the really thick carpet style ones?

Yes. I'll try and get a pic of it. It couldn't believe it as well. I don't believe I'm wearing any shoes that are like knives.

Rubber. I use them year round because I prefer the look.

+1

Work great year round, just shake them out or hose them off, good as new!

They were in my first gen for over 9 years. I loved the way they preserved the factory character of the interior. When I traded it in a few weeks ago, the stone carpeted mats still looked brand new. The were super easy to vacuum as well. I just bought another set for my 2013. 87.50 shipped (Free shipping, noo sales tax) from Exactmats.com

Yikes! Once it splits open, it's time to replace them.

OEM rubbers aren't that expensive, are they? Mine came with the car, so I haven't priced them.
