I believe they're interchangeable.

Not sure about the 08 but when I transferred my 06 wheel locks to my 2012 G37S, I found out they were not the same
Found this on my garage floor
Check with Infiniti parts department to be absolutely sure.

The lug nuts changed from v35 to v36, but have stayed the same since. 07 - 12 are all the same.

just to clarify...
are you saying the locking lug nut key wasn't the same or the thread pitch has changed?
pretty sure they my G35 and G37 are both 12.5 x 1.25
