Cell phone mounts
Why clutter up the dash? Just put the cell phone in the center console. There’s a convenient charging socket in there, and the phone will be out of sight. Calls can be made via bluetooth and voice commands.
only thing i miss about my truck coming to this car is the amount of storage space in the dash and center console.
Maybe center consoles have become smaller in later years but in my ’08 it measures around 6.5” square. That should fit any Galaxy III (5.4” x 2.8”) with ease. And keep in mind with Bluetooth there’s a phone button on the steering wheel to both answer and hang up on all calls. The nav screen is also useful.
So again, unless you’re putting a tablet out there, which I would think is ill-advised, there’s no need clutter the dash with a cell phone mount, especially if you have to remove the phone from it every time you park in public lest it be stolen.

Did u guys looks at my pics? Doesn't really clutter dashboard at all. Previously, I was keeping the phone in one of the cup holders, but there were quite a few times that I didn't have room for it. Yes you could keep it in the center, but I use Pandora quite a bit(not through the bluetooth, i start the app then plug it in the car, all the album artwork comes up and everything works as it should) and I leave the program open if I want to thumbs up/ down anything(don't think that constitutes texting).
Perhaps your Crapxy Android phones are just too damn big?

In my ’08 the compartment in front of the gear shift is a lidded, small ash tray and a cigarette lighter box. Behind the gear shift is a two cup holder and behind it the 6.5” x 6.5” center console that easily fits any cell phone with a charger socket as needed. If you don't have this I guess the change for your ’13 is unfortunate.

The point is to be able to see the screen and use the touchscreen while driving. There is a lot more to do than just listen to music and talk on the phone. I want one to be able to use Torque Pro conveniently.
On to the mountThere is really only one to get. It's not cheap but easily transferable. TETRAX XWAY $50. Comes with a few different mounts and if I remember correctly a clamp style to mount on a vent or a sticky style. Sold at Canadian tire. Ask for GPS mounts or car audio electronics. I have an iPhone and it allows me to spin the phone horizontally and push all areas of the phone without it moving around. Expensive but by far the best as I am in sales and on the road all the time.
But what I find interesting is you dash clip advocates would have to remove the phone whenever you park in a public area, lest it be stolen and you have a broken window for your troubles.
Hey, I have an idea: When you park in public and you can’t take it with you, just hide the phone in the center console.
At 5.9” the Note II would still fit.

It's not a Garmin.
