Black fog lamp trim

Does anyone have a source for black fog lamp trim rings? I have a 2011 G37sX sedan.

paint it yourself, or wrap it, or even plastidip

I'd like to do this, how do I remove the rings?

I own a house so I have basic tools but have never done any work on a car so if someone is willing to provide a sort of "dummie's instructions" on getting the rings off that would be appreciated.

Please post pics -- I'm highly considering spraying my fog light and window trim.

no qualms with the fog lamps / grille; dip fits the front of the car, in combination with the plastic grilles.

That said, you might want to think about vinyl wrapping the side trim; the b pillars are vinyl wrapped from the factory, and dipped trim clashes / doesn't come out nearly as cleanly as vinyl.

There's a DIY on driver. I haven't done it, but I've been meaning to. I have seen dipped trim, and I wasn't impressed. (And I'm definitely an advocate of the stuff.)

As much as I despise plastidip, you're right, it works here with the matte black plastic behind the fog trim.

That's top-coated vinyl? Are you sure about that?

I've refrained for a while because I didnt think it'd look that good. I'll probably take a stab at it myself with the vinyl DIY on here. I'm more interested in doing the fogs, those are gonna be a PITA no matter what route I go.

Main reason I've elected to keep my PD trip is because it nearly 100% matches the lower grill.

I've read on here a few times that the pillar trim is factory vinyl wrapped.

I have mine apart right now - want a pic of the fog grille / finisher / fog light disassembled? It'll obviously come out the best if you have the time to take it apart. It's really easy.

My grille and fog light rings were completely unplanned... I was installing 5k HIDs on my car with my buddy and he suggested while we are at it, we should do the grille and fog light rings too since we took off the bumper

Here you go

After about 1hour struggle to take the bumper off for the 1st time..

after

HIDs hooked up to the switchbacks

somebody showing some Gfamily love, and parked right next to me at the end of the parking lot yesterday

enjoy

Is there a way to remove the chrome fog rings w/o bumper removal?

I'd like to PD them eventually, good color match and more resistant to road debris than paint

Absolutely. Just remove the fog assembly. Come at it through the wheel well. It's not that difficult, but it helps to have little girly arms.

Nice G pics guys

As far as the B pillars being vinyl wrapped from the factory I can say for 100% certainty that they are. I had to have new pillars put in after my T-Bone and I saw the vinyl pillar wrap in an Infiniti parts box, then I saw them being applied.
Here's the trim DIY, it's simple and cheap (about $20 for the vinyl)
