Picked up my first G37
Picked up my first G37
I just leased a 2013 G37 for 2K down $277 a month.
So far I am enjoying the ride as this is my first G i was thinking about eventually buying it when my lease ends. What do you guys think? Is it worth buying it? The value of the car after 2 years will be approximately 26K according to the dealer.
I know the knew q50 is out now and with the name change how do you guys think it will affect the value of the G37's? They have held there value pretty well but do you think that will stay the same with the name change? and do you current owners think its a good reliable car to buy.
I went from a 2000 Infiniti I30 (purchased in 03) to this. Just sold my i30 and was very please with it after 165K miles

I agree that the price drop on the tried and proven G37, combined with somewhat dissapointing reviews on the Q, will cause the 2013 G37s to hold their value pretty well.
A clean 2 year old 328 HP luxury sedan that turns a 0-60 in 5.2 for 26k....seems like a bargain already.

I will agree with others here that the G37 will hold its value and if you decide to keep it for a longer it will go down in car history like the 240Z, Supra, 240SX, etc...
You got a good monthly and residual. The Q maybe hit or miss too early to tell but the G37 has been well liked for quite some time. Infiniti's genius was in giving all owners the same high performing engine regardless which trim you choose, base, luxury, sport. Something you cant say for other makes.

Sounds good man...What color did you get if you dont mind me asking white on black? How is the 7 speed auto transmission shifting? I hear there are complaints that it doesn't shift as smooth as it should...thanks
I still have my 99 i30 and its got 155k on it -- I drove it the other day and its really not a terrible car save for the gas mileage but thats relative I suppose.
You pick up a base journey? I think my car is gonna be something like $30k even when my two year lease is over thats a 13 6mt S...at $26k i'd have a hard time not buying out the car. Into the 30s though yes.

Sounds like a real deal, for 2k down payment and less then 300 per month.
In mexico we pay similar (most of times a round 4k down payment), but monthly payment (rent) goes at 800 minimum for a sedan. 1100 for a S coupe or a basic M37 :O
Hope we can reach those rent payments some time

I got white on black. As far as the shift its not bad i realized that the car is built to be driven fairly quick so when u do take ff slow the shift is not smooth but I love ut
