ViperG37s - I ordered mine online orderinfinitiparts. I paid $37.92 for set of 4, and it was $49 with shipping.

I think the S especially cries out for them. I agree, they should be standard on the S. Installed them immediately after purchasing the car...no regrets.

I don't like them. To me they look tacked on and disturb the clean smooth lines of the G. There's nothing 'Sporty' about mud/splash guards.

^ this is what I've been contemplating. I love some of the OEM accessories for the G, but I'm just not sure about the splash guards. I have the illuminated sills, love them. The front chin lip looks great, and the rear trunk lid spoiler is an absolute must, especially on the S. So those 3 are clear, but the guards? I even dig the premium floor mats that I got a great deal on a while back.

If I could find them for $40 then I would probably go for it and at least test fit them to see if I like the look. But the cheapest I've found them is $84 for Blue Slate. Most of the other colors can be had for $40, but not BS for some reason.

On a coupe they're an absolute must -- they extend the body in an elegant oem-kit like way.

On a sedan.. I think the rears are ok, front looks meh. A bit of an afterthought imo.

hey guys - on a related topic: does anyone know if there is any difference between the '09 Sport vs. non-Sport for the splash guards?

so what i mean is are the side sills (where the front guards attach) or rear bumper (rear guard) any different? the guards have different part numbers online, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are actually different. Nissan seems to like to create part numbers for every model even if the actual part is the same.

the reason i ask is because the sport guards in Blue Slate are ~$90, whereas the non-sports are <$40. for that price i would go for it just to see how i like the look.

yes, I think that may be due to the side-sills. They are supposed to be more aggressive on the "S" so the splash guards have to accommodate them.

thank you. i did some more digging and you are correct. the sills are different between S and non-S, but the rears are identical.

Part numbers vary. Each color has its own part number. And each color that was available in the Sport version has 2 part numbers: one for sport and another for non-sport. This is due to sport side rocker panels.

Example: Blue Slate (K52) - Non-Sport Option is part number F38E0-1NF1G
Example: Vibrant Red (A54) - Sport Option is part number F38E0-1NF2H

Determine your color code, go to the online catalog and look under accessories.

+1 on the splash guards... especially if you can get them for under 50 somewhere
