My slightly modded XS sedan
Sorry Rocket I have not had a chance to mess with it yet (good intentions derailed by life), but I am certain it will work as others have had good luck bending the hangers.

No problem. Wish I had more first hand experience to relay to you, but two kids under 2 makes free time hard to come by.

Well I haven't logged on in a while, but I traded in my G yesterday. Sad day really, I will miss it more than any other car Ive owned. It was my second G so I might be back in Q form in the future. I traded it in for a Ford Focus ST, i know downgrade. I don't even want to get rid of the G, but sometimes life is cruel.
About 6 weeks ago my world was rocked. My whole family (wife and 2 kids) got a bad cold. My oldest daughter, who is two and a half years old, was the sickest. Brought her to the doctor twice. Got blood work the second visit, and we got the call no parent ever wants. "Get to the ER now." After 16 hours in the ER, "Your daughter has Leukemia". Obviously we're devastated, but we search for the silver linings where we can find them. She has ALL which has some great treatments, but even with good insurance its expensive and lasts 2 years 3 months.
So I did what I had to, and traded in the G. I wanted a fun relatively inexpensive car that had a bumper to bumper for the duration of her treatment. The 2013 I pick up this week, with about 10k miles, fit the bill. Should be fun, and I will have some stuff for sale in the near future. Just wanted to say thank you to the many people that helped me out through the mods and maintenance. Hopefully the ST has a similar atmosphere, but I'm not holding my breath.

I got 17k for it. Payments are about $100 less a month, and ill get better mpg's. So I'm hoping to save $120-$150 a month. Enough to help pay for two treatments a month, and take a little stress off.
So sorry to hear about your daughter, nothing in life comes close to those in your family. Cars and other goods can be replaced, sure hope things work out as best they can w/ your current situation. Hope there's some peace for you through all this.
I'm so sorry, Redpit. If it were either of my two daughters, I'd also ditch my G without regrets. You've got some difficult days ahead of you. It hurts just trying to put myself in your position. Dad and husband first... cars come and go.
Peace, brother.
Peace, brother.
Thank you guys. Kind words, positive thoughts, and prayers go a long way right now.
It's official the G is gone. I'll have a black R2C, top speed exhaust, midnight grill, black floor mats, and an iPod cable for sale soon. All in excellent shape. Look for it in the classifieds. All money made going towards treatments.
