Any sportier (light weight) fitting batteries used by anyone?

As far as brands on batteries what would you all consider the best 1 or 3?

I'm going to have the battery termninals scrubbed and battery replaced along with new NGK Iridium spark plugs unless Denso OEM is what I should stick to. Some stores carry Denso in my area I think.

I have seen real expensive lighter batteries made from Lithium ION for sale. I have no experience with them as far as the best batter for the money. Not real cheap either but last you forever is the Sears Die Hard Platinum. It's an AGM batter has more power and longer life than any other battery around. Full 4 year replacement warranty and pro rated after that. They are awesome...still lead though.

 

I swear by Deka. I haven't had to put one in the G yet..

Braille B3121 21lb battery . Almost 3 years and zero issue .. If the car is going to sit longer than 7 days u need to put a battery trickler

 

Costco has good quality batteries and the lightweight ones are more maintenance than they're worth.

 

Optima batteries all day long here. Autopartsplus has $50 off quite often which makes them a no brainer. Not the lightest batteries, but very well made and durable. Red top in the G, yellow top in the wife's SUV.

 

I thought Optima were racing or performance batteries also.

They can get quite heavy and I just don't want to add any extra weight even though I'm not shopping a racing battery necessarily. Many of those are just too small.

$50 gives me an indication of what they really cost. I suppose I'll have my mechanic check the battery etc. on oil change today.

Battery tested just fine. Tech said it was most likely the original spark plugs. Said NGK would be great when I asked. They replace a special gasket you have to buy and it takes about 2 hours.

What does a spark plug change normaly cost?

Anyone know how many I need for a 2010 G37x S?

Letting the infinity dealer put in the Denso Iridiums. About $240

 

^ $240! yikes! oh well, your money...that's a DIY job if i ever saw one.

 

You need a special gasket etc. I don't even know where they're located.
