Nope. Not feeling the roof spoiler on the sedan. I think it's the way it curls upward, and how the corners are so deeply rounded, that bring me to that opinion.

The lines just don't work for me. That's what I think.

Looks good, what particular areas were not quite perfect?

These are the most close up pics I've seen. I know a few others have installed this piece from ebay, and for under $100 shipped and painted, it seems a pretty good deal. I've contemplated this piece for some time also. From the looks of it, the fitment is pretty good. How do you feel about the outer edges? It's hard to tell, but it appears the sides may not line up perfectly with the glass/C pillar. And how is the paint match?

Knowing your car's trim, would you be ordering it in gloss black, or MW?

If I were to do it, I was thinking of gloss black. Also, I would be suspicious on the paint matching on MW. However, I'm not sure about the roof spoiler look. I was debating about this because it's very subtle. The E350 sedan has a subtle roof spoiler that compliments the car pretty well.

Yes and Yes on color and MW.

And I totally understand your misgivings about the roof spoiler. The little $100 modder inside me wants to really like it, but not this particular implementation.

Few cars look good with an aftermarket roof spoiler, IMO. One that does is the 7th Gen Maxima with the Stillen spoiler. It looks perfectly OEM to my eye.

I'm liking it. I'm on the fence about the corners as Rochester pointed out, just a little too rounded. Overall, though, thumbs up.

On a side note did you twist it like the eBay listing has pictured? I'd be tempted. Just like when i was a kid with the umbreakable combs.

Just click on the ebay link in the first post, it's like $85 shipped.

The roof spoiler looks nice man. I bought the same one and installed it about 8 months ago. For those considering the purchase, it definitely doesn't stand out too much or make the car look silly. Be careful going through a car wash that uses high pressure air to dry the car. One side of mine is slightly loose, but when you press it back down, it stays put.

Thanks guys for all your opinions/comments...both positive & negative.

I wished that the edges were more flushed with the C pillars, but due to the curve of the glass the spoiler needs to be bent to follow the rear window...it fall a bit short from the edge.
It's probably off by 1/10" on the ends...I'm glad the spoiler is so flexible and applicable.
Yes, I did twist it just for fun!

I think the roof spoiler goes pretty well with the rear trunk spoiler.
It's very subtle, so it doesn't cause any distractions.
I actually prefer the slight upwards curve compared to Stillen's flat top.
As for the paint match...looks perfect.

For $88 painted & shipped, I figured it was worth the chance and see how it looks...if I change my mind, it can easily be removed.

Thanks for the tip!
Did you use the supplied 3M promoter?
I didn't because it would have dried before I would be able to align the spoiler correctly.
