And your missing my point, after beating around the bush through endless posts. The Q50 sounds like Johnny Quests personal car, but looks closer to the Batmobile. It's just not appealing to a majority, and IMO looks like ****.

Lets wait and see the sales numbers before making such bold statements.

WHY is EVERY compliment given to this car in this thread met with a negative rebuttal like its a personal attack!?! Were the two responses to my eagle inspiration comment REALLY needed?

The Maxima looks way better IMO especially with the sports package with 19" rims. When everyone talks about how great the 328's handle, I agree, but for an overall sports sedan, the G37 is the best value. It's back seat is very capable of car seats for kids as I have done the last 5 years in all my G's. the 3 series is too small. So for a sports sedan that can haul your kid and wife in, and scream down the road with nav and tons of other options under $40000, it can't be beat. The Maxima I have always thought of as a second choice to do that and I'm not such a dumb *** as you think I am when you consider what I'm looking for in a sports sedan, wannabesport, and in no way would i drive any Toyata sedan or Chevy sedan product (Love my wife's 2011Tahoe tho)If I feel the need to fly around corners or go to the track,I'll get a Porsche to go with my Nissan/Infiniti sedan.
I can tell you the F30 has more rear leg room than the G. and it has standard fold down seats. booo

Really? Here are both cars specs per Motor Trend's web site

2013 G37-
Internal dimensions: front headroom (inches): 40.5, rear headroom (inches): 37.7, front hip room (inches): 55.1, rear hip room (inches): 53.7, front leg room (inches): 43.9, rear leg room (inches): 34.7, front shoulder room (inches): 55.6, rear shoulder room (inches): 55.2 and interior volume (cu ft): 99.0

2013 328i-
Internal dimensions: front headroom (inches): 40.3, rear headroom (inches): 37.7, front hip room (inches): 57.1, rear hip room (inches): 57.4, front leg room (inches): 42.0, rear leg room (inches): 35.1, front shoulder room (inches): 55.1 and rear shoulder room (inches): 55.1

The G has almost 2 more inches of rear legroom, even though this new model of 328 has .06" of increased rear legroom from the previous gen. The 328 has more front legroom than the G, but you don't put your kids up front. Comparing the two sedans before 2012 and both my brother's wife and mine were like "how do you put a car seat back there"? But, then again, I'm betting carseat function is the last thing on BMW's engineers minds

I think he's just self-conscious after saying this car looks like a freaking bird.

But it takes all kinds, sniper, so live and let live. Here, Sam says it best:

1. who cares about car seats? I'm out of that game. If I had to worry about car seats, neither of these vehicles would be my choice. I'd be driving a Camry.
2. BMW has more hip room...more useful than the two inches of leg room you're quoting.

Are you kidding? Why subject yourself to a Camry??? Lots of people with kids want to drive luxury sports sedans too. Both my brother and his wife and I purchased G sedans because of the backseat room. No other sports sedan in this class had that much rear legroom. Neither one of us wanted a Camry,Taurus, or a Malibu. The extra two inches keep the front seat farther up and away from kids shoes hitting the back of front seat. That's important if you want to keep seats clean.

How many people in this forum are single? Maybe more than I thought

maybe u should sit on both rather than looking at numbers.
the g looks great on paper with everything. all my passengers have the same opinion that the f30 has a more comfortable rear seats.

I have no problem putting the car seat on. not sure what kind of car seat you have.
