Would you buy a G37 sedan again?
Im picking up my 5th one today. 2013 G37S, Navi, Prem, Sport. Just leasing this one for 24 months so I can get the Q50 after its been out for a bit. Ive had 2003.5 G35, 2006 G35, 2007 G35, 2010 G37. All sedans. So, yes, I would.
Damn bro, that may be a record. Curious what range of colors you had through the years & how many miles each one had if you don't mind.
2006 Diamond Graphite
2007 Diamond Graphite
2010 Black Obsidian
2013 Moonlight white
All had about 22K-25K miles when I got the next, except the 2006 only had about 8K when I sold it to get the 2007. All were leased for 39 months except the new 2013 just for 24 mo.
2003.5 Ivory Pearl
2006 Diamond Graphite

It's no BMW but I'm liking the look/power and features of my 2009 G37 sedan for the $$. Not a fan of how smooth the transmission shifts are. This thing feels mechanically raw and unrefined compared to my old 530i. It does however have heaps more power, modern styling, more modern electronics/features, etc. Lower cost of purchase, lower cost of ownership, etc. Overall I like the car. I'll leave my final judgment for how well it holds up over time.
'09 G7 Touring, rosewood trim and satellite nav/radio but otherwise plain vanilla. And I love it for that: the intrinsic automobile is awesome: powerful and responsive, its most likely more care than most on this post could handle if put to the test. I care for it very well and it's like new. The only reason why I will not buy anotherone is that I intend to be buried in this car (I tend to care for autos exquisitely and keep them for a long time).
Yes, I would definitely but another G. The bang for the buck is hard to beat, it's pretty luxurious and has a good amount of power. I had a hard time deciding upon a A4, IS 250, Cclass, GS430 and bmw 5 series. I honestly love the look of audi's! The only thing is I owned a audt TT that just gave problem after problem. Everyone I know that has an audi tells me about their many problems. This is what strayed me away from Audis. These problems don't seem to come up until the car is about 5 years old, so if I was to get an audi I'd lease it. I haven't owned a BMW or Mercedes, but I have heard many similar stories about their reliability. I sometimes wonder if I'd be happier with an Audi or BMW, but I still feel that I made the right decision.
The G is very spacious, compared to the A4 and the is250. The back seats of the audi and IS seems like the same size as a honda civic. But the G seems to have much more room.

I might buy again; it will depend on the overall goodness of the Q50 in a couple of years. I'm not going to dismis the 'Q' based on specs - it all comes down to the overall package and balance. That's what I liked about the G when I bought it, and why I got out of my Maxima. Anyone can make a fast car. Anyone can make a luxurious car. It takes skill to create a well balanced car; that's why there are so few. The Maxima had elements of both luxury and performance, but the overall execution was lacking in terms of balance. If Infinity can manage to pull off a well balanced Q, I would absolutely consider it.

Lots happened the last week or so -only ~40k miles I have had more problems with my 2011 G37x sedan than ~300k miles on my two previous vehicles (Tacoma, Accord). The problems are minor (bad door lock actuator, sporadic compass on rear view mirror, auto up/down on one window is kaput, infamous windshield popping noise that required a rebuild of the cowling (by me, after the dealer failed twice to fix the issue)). I sincerely hope this trend doesn't continue...

). Let's wait till I have analogous but-it's-worth-it epic failures such as a bunch of blown HPFPs, a blown DSG, major electrical gremlins, and wholesale system failures...
