Been a while...
Been a while since I have been on the boards (always reading just not necessarily posting)... thought I would give an update from a couple weeks ago.
About 2 weeks ago I was on I-95 when a driver on my left started to fishtail, lost control and went sideways in front of me. I slammed on my brakes avoiding hitting him head on, and then he proceeded to hit a car on my right into the concrete wall. The guy in the minivan behind me proceeded to plow into the back of my car. Needless to say, this did not feel good but luckily all 4 people from all 4 totaled cars walked away (the guy who lost control was considered at fault for all 4 cars).

Yes, that is my rear left wheel in front of the car (hadn't been touched at that point... people were thrilled that at 8:45am during rush hour, 4 out of 5 lanes were closed down).

The car at the tow yard. A few days after this picture the car was officially totaled. Bent frame, snapped axle, convertible mechanism was crushed, and i think the towing guys knew the car would be totaled and dropped it on the transfer case ha.
Ok, now to why this is being posted in the sedan section:
As sad as it was to see the convertible go, as of 3 days ago, I am now the proud new owner of a 2013 G37s sedan. Same Black/Black, premium, nav, sport package and kickplates. Decided to be much more practical this time around after having the g35 coupe, the g37 coupe, and the convertible. Happy to still be a part of the G community... realized one advantage to no longer having the convertible, no more rattles and squeaks!

Wow sorry to hear about your convertible. I'm laughing about your comment about the rattling and squeaks cause it's so true.
Good luck with the sedan , it's a beauty especially with the sports package and akebono brake kit.

I was kinda surprised the airbags didn't go off as well. I honestly think being in the convertible had something to do with it. The vert rear is wider and must be reinforced in some manner to hold all of the extra weight when the top is down.
