Today is the day
2009 Infiniti G37 Sedan Journey
I don't know what they told him it was or wasn't, but I'm just saying what it actually is. I'm pretty confident that I know a bit more about these cars than the average used car salesman. Even the most cursory glance a the photos shows evidence that it is what I said it is. Nobody is going to have added a sunroof, seat memory, sunroof, power lumbar adjustment and everything else that this car has to a base model car.
OP, I kind of just went through the same scenario as you before I purchased this past weekend. My thread was called hoping to buy this weekend.
Have you looked on Craigslist and Autotrader? I started tracking a couple of different cars, actually still tracking them now just out of curiosity.
If you want a 2009 there should be a lot of inventory out there, atleast that was my experience in my area. A lot of the G's weren't/aren't moving. I had a 2011 base with w/Bose no Navi down to 27,400. That was over a week ago, so my guess is that I they would probably let it go in the 26s, somewhere.
Another 2009 that I test drove, loaded with nav, 28k miles, no accidents is listed at 25,600 and has been at the dealership for almost a month.
Be patient and leverage other deals out there to get a better deal. The car I just picked up is a 2010, loaded with more options then I even initially knew of. Got it for 2k and a solid trade. They had it listed for 29,999. We went back and forth while I was at the dealership. Be patient and when you negotiate stick to your guns.
I live off of my Iphone, streaming music from my phone through bluetooth is awesome. Something to consider b/c I believe you need navi and 2010+ model.
If you have time, time it is your biggest Ally - I didn't make this up... see my thread. Being patient when your excited is tough though!

No. It is exactly what it looks like it is. A Journey with Premium pkg, not a base model. The link OP provided to the car has a huge bold title that says

Seafoo, thanks. I do have time to spare on shopping around. I don't care much for the nav package, but I would like the Bose sound. I'm hoping to talk them down to 23k. Don't know if I'll get it, but worth a shot. Also, I like the idea of getting it from the dealer, due to the 100k mile certification.

Base cars are rare (except base convertibles).
Any car that has Bose and moonroof has the Premium Pkg.
The Premium Pkg is a prerequisite to have the Nav Pkg. No Nav without Premium.
The Nav Pkg is a prerequisite to have the Tech Pkg (which is also relatively rare). No Tech without Premium and Nav. This is a car that is actually "loaded".
Another problem with a lot of people is when they claim their car is loaded, when it isn't. Loaded means you have nearly all the packages available.
There are 4 packages available for the sedan: Premium, Sport, Navigation, and Tech packages.
Fully loaded is when you have either most of them, or all of them. I'm annoyed when people claim their car with premium package is considered "fully loaded." Even a car with Premium and Navigation, IMO, isn't considered fully loaded. You only have half of the options available, and that's just considered middle-loaded, not "fully" or "mostly" loaded.
Just don't throw the term loaded around, because that gives a wrong impression.
When I searched around for a "fully loaded" used car when I was searching, only like 2 were available in the whole state of NJ, and one of them was a smoker car. That gives you an impression of how many cars really do have the tech package. Cars with sport packages are easier to find than cars with tech packages, just because of the sheer requirement for the tech package. (Needs Premium and Navigation packages)
Not that anyone cares, but a car with a tech package not only has a different bumper part number, but also a different part number for the BCM as well compared to the other sedans. When mine went bad after a dealer broke it trying to reprogram keys, they had to special order it from Infiniti.

Nope and if you go to a dealership they will tell you an IPL is "fully loaded" but they are not as they don't have the tech package. Really I would think you would have to have the tech package and a Vert as well to be fully loaded..............lol
That really is $5K too high, all things considered.
in Oct '10 i paid $26k USD for my '09S 6MT with 21k miles. navi pkg, premium pkg (obviously), kickplates, rear lip spoiler, new tires, full service records, eibach prokit, custom true-dual exhaust, huper optik tint, LED int/ext conversion...the only things missing were the tech pkg & 4WAS. neither of which i wanted anyways since they both sound expensive to fix and offer little value to me in exchange.
i'd say a nicely equipped '09 or '10 should go in the $24-$28k range, depending on regions/miles/etc. in the US of course, not up in Canada!

Had I been at the dealership two hours earlier they had an identical car with 28k miles that sold for 24k I spoke to the dude who bought it.It had a new front bumper installed with a poor paint job (runs in clearcoat) and was bought at auction. I would have purchased, drove it for a few years until rock chips and bugs polluted it and then I would have spent $750 on a new bumper to make it like new.

I was looking at Bang & Olufsen (make sure you spell it right) systems last night for my home.................wow. You better have deep pockets!
As for home audio, my home system of choice would be Aperion Audio...really amazing sound for a great price. Bang and Olufsen just sells their name brand, but doesn't really deliver amazing sound for the price they charge, very similar to Bose.
