So long G35 S 6MT sedan!

After almost 6 years and 50K miles, traded in my 2007 G35S with 6MT. Great car--never gave me any mechanic issues. Ended up with a used 2009 BMW 550i to go with my weekend S2K. Will miss the Nav and backup camera. The BMW iDrive is as not intuitive as everyone says.

Still have my OEM 18" rims and tires, so will take some pictures and put those up for sale later.

iDrive not as intuitive? I thought it had a horrible reputation? My wife's 2011 iDrive is a big improvement, though...

The wife had an 08 550I and we still miss it.... it was a fun car to drive. The navigation was not too bad.

Love that silky V8, just a solid touring car w/ a nice rush of power. Enjoy!

Only 50K miles after 6 years of first ownership... I'm thinking that car's next owner is going to be very, very happy.

You will enjoy the 550i. My dad went from two G35s (an 04 and an 08) to an 09 Corvette to an 07 550i and he has absolutely no complaints... I love driving that car. It is so quiet then you plant your foot and just watch that speedo climb well into the triple digits.. meanwhile the noise levels haven't changed at all and the car is composed as hell. It is a whole new type of speed, and it is the type of speed I want in my next car haha.

thanks guys! the V8 is very smooth and it is a much larger car than the G. So far so good, and keeping my fingers cross about electronics.

The 550i is really solid over bumps and definitely swallows the miles. Sure is thirsty too. Averaging about 15 mpg on mostly city driving!

I had a 2005 5451 - same as 550 - didn't know the 8's didn't come with nav. BMW bought mine back after 6 months and threat of lawsuit.

1 word - BUYAWARRANTY.

Nice cars, tho...

I'm going without warranty--I prefer to self-insure!

Hey guys, just posted my OEM wheels and tires for sale in case you know anyone who is interested. Thanks!
