Hi folks, just bought a preowned g37x. I got the trial SirusXM subscription. Was wondering is it possible to flip the XM channels through the steering wheel? IThe steering wheel control only seems to change the presets...

 

First off congrats on the new car! As far as I know you cannot flip through the stations by just the steering wheel, you can only do the presets. I'm pretty sure that is how most cars are set up.

 

Been awhile I had XM but would agree with previous poster that you can only flip through preset station. Btw, when xm trial membership runs out, you can negotiate for a cheaper rate. Just got a postcard offering 6 months for $25 with no activation fee. Search forum and you can see what other rates are out there.

 

My car only does presets as well for Sirius XM on the steering wheel. Tune button does station by station and Seek button does each category.

On a side note, Listen Free Nov 14 go there and try to call in to get an additional 6 months for $25 + taxes (for me it was under $30 after all fees). I got a call from Sirius one day saying I qualified for 5 months at $25, and when I created my online account I found this 6 month promo so I got my promo changed (after a few phone calls however) to add the additional month. Maybe you can call them before they call you or when they do call you, tell them you know of their 6 month promo.

edit: the only problem I'm running into with XM is that they replay a lot of content quite often. I'm even recognizing the rave music I randomly go to when I can't find other music on. Pretty sure I'll cancel after my 6-month promo unless they give me another one.
