Possibly the end of my G

Possibly the end of my G - G35Driver

Will a Q50 be in my future?

Sad to see but you walked away. Could be a blessing in disguise given the Q50 is around the corner

Its always sad to see pictures like that. But with the unveiling of the Q50 just around the corner they may not hit dealerships for a few months after. It just depends on where Infiniti is in their production phase. Hope it works out for you!

Ugly...and most definitely totaled. Glad you're still upright.

Damn Terry. I hate to see it happen to one of the most awesome G sedans out there. Her's hoping for something more awesome and better luck with your next car.

Glad you're ok. What is the book value of your car? I believe if the damage is something like 75% of the value, then it can be totaled. I was rear ended as well and the damage was 18k and it wasn't totaled. However, my car is a 2010 and was 1.5 yrs old when it got hit.

I think high KBB for my car is about $21K for fully optioned and private sale. Your car looked worse from the rear end collision than mine does. What will get tricky is when they try to determine the cost to repair the front of my car. It has twin turbos so the intercooler and transmission cooler are mounted in the front of the car. I'm pretty sure a lot of the piping up there will need to be replaced. They might have to send the car back to GTM for that fix and that won't be cheap.

Your car is totaled, but it may take your insurance a couple weeks before you are informed of that. Start searching for your next car now or you'll be paying for a lot of rental fees.

Like I said over on 35Driver, tough way to end the year but glad you're OK. Whatever you end up with will be another amazing ride I'm sure. Cheers to a great 2013 Terry!

My G35 was totaled a few months ago.

Other party admitted guilt.
Got a check and new car two weeks after the accident.

I guess it'll be close whether or not the Q50 will be available.
