Merry g37xmas

What should I buy for the new car? Just got an 09 x sedan for my girlfriend as her daily driver. My weekend warrior. Don't want to spend to much so was thinking weather mats and something else. Maybe 500$ or less. Black on black wood interior. Non sport bumper that I hate. The bumper has small chips in it so maybe paint it??? Led lights??? I'll tint it later. Thanks in advance.

She won't appreciate swaybars. Thinking of simple interior exterior accessories or cheap mod.

Good suggestion, I would get the midnight grille and keep the Infiniti emblem chrome. If not maybe just save the money to get the sport bumper. I too can't stand the non sport bumper, it just looks like something was missing in the design phase or was left off.

You can get the OEM front chin spoiler for the non-sport bumper, looks much nicer than without it IMO.

Thanks for the input. Let me rephrase this. We pick the car up Friday. Either black black w wood interior or blk tan wood. In not looking to do any engine mods right now. I'll wait until spring for that. Just want a quick mod to make the car less stock. I've seen the non sport lip but it reminds me of a crab or something. I think I have to see it in person. Come spring I will be broke. I'll prob drop it slightly on vossens,(unsure which ones) light tint, paint emblems. I live in Philly land of monster potholes so no kit or crazy drop. Then start under hood and exhaust.

Where can I get a good deal on that OEM midnight grille? And how much lower does that chin spoiler make the car also? That looks pretty nice. Can I get any color? Mine is Smoky Quartz. (would midnight grill look good on Smoky Quartz even?)

The OEM Midnight Grill will look good on any color...black matches with everything!

Look here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/support...12-models.html
Not sure what their prices are, but should give you a deal since they are a vendor from this site.

Probably not the cheapest price for the Midnight Grill...

The Sport Front Lip isn't any lower than the OEM Sport Bumper...it only extends out further.

Well I picked up the car today. 09g37x blk on blk wood int. The !!!!);&$;!:?. Bumper. Very disappointed. The previous owner or dealer screwed the plate brackets to the bumper. So the little scratch I thought the bumper had just turned into two holes. I don't want to hear about plugs either although I may have to until I get some extra cash. Why why why would they do this. Also the steering wheel has the typical scratched paint. No other major defects that I noticed yet. Picked up the Infiniti brand all weather mats and extra set of carpet mats too. Definetly swapping out rear plate light to something brighter as well as reverse lights. Interior lights and plastics on lights if that's possible??? My crohn's was acting up all day so I let my girl enjoy the car for today. Tomorrow that's another story. Complete detail for winter and to see if they notice anything I didn't and can't forget to get insp stickers

First off, don't let a couple of scratches ruin the car for you. It's a great car and you will love it.

Regarding the licence plate lights and reverse lights, I swapped mine out for stage 2 led lights from diode dynamics and absolutely love it. It was my first mod that could do myself, I'm not very handy when it comes to doing mods. It definitely gives it more of a younger appeal, if that's possible.

I also did the interior lights as well, also from diode dynamics, and I liked it for the first couple of days, but it felt too much like fluorescent lighting for my taste. Two things bothered me about them. One, when you get in your car at night and turn the car on, the lights don't fade away like they do with the normal lights. Second, also at night, they tend to stay on. Not at full power, but more like 5%, just enough to be noticed. I switched my interior lights back, but kept the led lights in my license plate and reverse lights. If you want the interior leds pm me.
