New wheels installed

Cleared it, no problem at all. These are a +30 offset, whereas the Vossens were +32. Since these are only 8.5 wide instead of 9, they sit almost exactly the same. Very flush with the well. I need to drop the fronts just a touch... easy fix (couple twists on each side).

Hey Macs, how much do the OEM wheels weight?
I think I might just go with the G35 OEM rays instead of the G37 coupe rims. G37 rims definitely looks better on our car but they are significantly heavier than the rays. I heard shedding 5 lbs of rotational weight is like shedding 40 lbs of actual weight on the car.

I'm not certain of the actual sprung v unsprung weight formula, but the Enkei website says 1 pound is equal to 20.

Very nice. 18.3lbs per wheel? Looks great.
Did you do 18x8.5 all around?
Edit: Out of curiosity, why Hankook V12's? Wouldn't Michelin PSS drop another 3lbs or so?

I went with the Hankooks because A: I had them on the car before and loved them aside from the fact they wore out too fast (16k miles - done) B: They are much less expensive than the Michelin PSS, and rated #2 behind the PSS in a test that was done by one of the car mags (can't remember which one).
Edit: After doing a little research, the PSS might be worth the extra coin, as they are 3 lbs lighter and have a 30k treadlife warranty, whereas the Hankook's have nada. If I go through these in 16k again, I WILL switch to the PSS.

I also use the Enkei RPF-1 in NASA and SCCA road racing. It's a great lightweight alloy wheel, but needs a hub spacer to get it to fit properly. You don't want the lugs to supply both the clamping force and load bearing properties. I assume the OP used some aftermarket 3 mm hub rings to get the RPF-1 to work properly on the G37.

Just saying.
I respect the priority of lightweight rims... good for you. Those Enkie's seem to have a good reputation. I just wish they were more attractive. At least your BBK makes up for it in the looks department.
