Arrow Please help identify this car part

Hi guys. I recently was driving out of my office parking lot and heard a noise. I stopped and got out and found this on the driveway. I'm not sure if it's from my car or not and have no idea what it is. Any help identifying it and figuring out if it's from my g37 or not would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Someone at work just said it looks like a valve from a lawn mower.

Whatever it is, it was clearly driven over several times in the parking lot before you picked it up, so not from your car. Agree with Tazicon, looks like a coax part/filter of some sort.

Its a piston splint probably fell out after your muffler valves adjusted.

Jarvo you sure about that? how exactly does that valve work?

Canucklehead, those damn johnson rod's are always so expensive to replace. then on top of that they steal your dollar too when the machine in the waiting room doesn't give you your twix.

HMMM...I my humble opinion, it doesn't look like anything from the car. Brass part?

Whatever it is, its not a car part. That's for some sort of RF transmission/reception.

No worries.
