I'm looking at different drop in filters, ATM I'm thinkin of going with afe drys. I also am going to try to make some tail lights I liked that I think were painted but I'm going to try to use see through vinyl to make the outlines like I like and shadow chrome the emblems/grill. I also think I'm going to attempt to find some rays

Congratulations!

I have a set of GTC01 wheels that will look great on your sedan...too bad you are not in the SF Bay Area

Is that a 6mt? You should also put back the stock radiator cap. It is a high pressure cap than the nismo one you have in there.

I agree, don't mess with the pressure specs on the radiator cap.

Use a cap *cover* if you want to dress it up. VMS makes a really interesting looking cover that fits over your OEM cap:

Those Z1 tubes do look worlds better than the OEM flex-tubes. Although for $108+, I'd be more inclined to direct that money into an aftermarket intake, particularly if you're going to be spending even more yet on high-performance drop-in panels... who's actual value is very debatable.

But whatever the priority or motivation, these Z1 tubes do look good, so

It actually is a cap cover, the price was right so I slapped it on. I already ordered a drop in and will be using that for now to keep an oem/clean look unless I decide to go crazy and boost it. Vinyls for the tail lights are here but I unfortunately ordered coupe tail light vinyls and if they don't exchange will probably be selling them for $5 to cover shipping to anyone that needs/wants them. I actually am thinking about getting some rays from the g35 but I don't really want to drop so I'm hoping it looks good. Anyone know if g37s are actually any lower than regular g37?

Update:car still at shop but interesting info: was told by service advisor that the trim on the steering wheel that has the cheesy soft plastic coating is being replaced by Infiniti since they have had so many complaints with the newer upgraded trim. Even if your past warranty!!
Ps. He also said its not a recall so you have to request it.

Hmm. OK. That would be a 2007-2009 thing, then, right? I've never had issue with any trim on my steering wheel... other than wishing it were black like the 2009 model.

Agreed. The OP has an 09.
I'm a bit surprised his 09 would have this issue.
I had an 07 sedan and I recall the problem but am pretty sure it was rectified in the later 08's.
