modification is required to make it fit but it's been done before.

It won't fit, unless some welding is done.

Before:

After: (you can see where the cuts were made)

Comparison with driver and passenger side pipes. this is how it should look like after:

let me know if you have any questions!

hum_33 would you happen to know how much you shortened it?
the measurements would be helpful

persianprince...nothing was shortened. it was just cut and and flipped around to make the connecting piece from the cat longer to get around the transfer case. no exact measurement. it was all eyeball lol. but if you look at the photos maybe you can replicate it.

also make sure you bolt down the flanges so that when you cut the flex pipe you dont mess up the angle of the holes for the bolts. cuz it matters when you start your install

kind of curious why in the pics your flex sections are at angles? from all the other pics I have seen it looks like the flex section comes straight out from the flange like this:

I'm curious about this too. Can someone elaborate? The exhaust I just bought looks like the one in the picture above not the one hum_33 posted.

Is it possible to modify the revised version of the Q300 to fit an AWD sedan? The flex sections look really close to the flanges.

I just had the revised version installed on my X sedan today. The shop just cut the pipe before the flex and near the resonator and flipped it and it fits perfect. I also had them install the Fast Intentions high flow cats and my car sounds great. The invidia exhaust is the quietest catback I've ever had, but it's nice and deep and when you step on it it sounds really nice. It's not obnoxious, but it sounds like the car is well tuned. I like it a lot. Down the road I may have the exhaust shop remove the resonators, but I'm good for now.
