Stumbled onto this today..

You guessed it, yet another front bumper lip thread!

Why you ask?

There just isn't enough of them. Well there really isn't much info for NON-Sport G37's out there.

The only option I've really seen around is the OEM one out there, and I don't think anyone even has one installed so hard to find real world pics.

I stumbled onto this, looks pretty decent if you ask me. Now this place doesn't seem the most reputable. Anyone have any experience?

Just really trying to find something other than the OEM or a generic splitter/canard set.

Not feeling it at all either. The bottom piece sticks out way too much. How is the fitment and quality? Does it come pre-painted? Too many unknowns.

I understand people want to go with different routes when it comes to mods. But nothing will top the OEM lip as far as quality and fitment.

Think that's what I'll end up doing really. I'd rather not take the rist with this one then.

Now does anyone actually have pics of an installed OEM NON-Sport that would help a LOT.

If it didn't have those extra wing extensions on each corner, it would look pretty good.

They remind me of when I was a kid, and there was always that bit of extra plastic you have to shave off when putting together a model car or boat. In fact, that's exactly what it looks like. Too much plastic.

Get out the box-cutter, and you'll have a fine front lip.

Agreed.

OP: The front lip on the non-sport looks good. Not many people have it because some people dont even know about it. I say you get the OEM front lip.

Or what you can do is get the OEM and have it modified, molded, etc.

That's what I'm going to have to do. Only reason I liked this other lip was it wouldn't look too bad CF wrapped. The OEM one blends too much with the body (which is great) but having it CF wrapped would look odd to me.

Anyway, I've got some time, still waiting on the AutokitsX diffuser I picked up from awesome group buy you put together. Thanks.

Thanks sniper27. I found a great thread with a few other pics too, link is on another computer though.

The OEM is just so bland, but sadly the only legit option out there.

I was hoping for something that would look good in CF or with some canards on it. There 'extreme' look. Guess I'm going to settle for bland, oh well.

It is what it is.

It might look okay if the protuding part was painted black. Make it look like a separate diffuser piece.

Can someone post a straight on side pic of the car with the OEM lip. I wanna see it if flows well with the rest of the lines of the car from that view. Sometimes it can look out of place if the part of the lip under the grill sticks out too far. It does look great from all the other views but its hard to tell if it sticks out too much for my liking unless*I*get a side profile.
