Abput to add Carbon Fiber Vinyl to spoiler

I know i've made a few posts about carbon fiber vinyl to the spoiler. I received the cf vinyl today. Before i try to install it, anyone have any tips on how i should cut the hole for the camera, trunk opener button? Maybe tips on cutting around the spoiler correctly. Pictures or videos on a g37 would be highly helpful. Thanks

Lay the vinyl on the spoiler, don't apply any pressure to the vinyl, you'll want to be able to lift it easily so you can place it EXACTLY where you want it, if you lift and replace the vinyl too often it won't adhere as well and gets tougher to work with. Get the top of the spoiler down first and get it laying bubble/wrinkle free, if you have to lift it up to remove a bad area now is the time. The 1080 wrap vinyl has air-release technology so removing bubbles is a breeze, but creases are definitely something you don't want to try to remove since they tend to leave the crease line in the film.
Once you get the top of the spoiler to you liking, wrap the lower portion, you'll probably run into issues at the end of the spoiler and it's tough trying to tell you what to do on my keyboard. You'll need some heat to tighten the vinyl around the ends where the vinyl tends to bunch and also heat it where you want it sealed around the edges.
Hopefully you got enough vinyl so you can see how the vinyl works on your first try then do it again "for real".
As far as the edges, I already explained that previously, have the vinyl overhang about a 1/4" then remove the spoiler and wrap the overhang under the spoiler, then heat the edges as you press them down to get the seal. The cutouts for the button & camera are similar~ cut a small X in the center of the hole and wrap the edges on the underside of the holes and heat, press & seal. You DON'T want to cut the holes flush as they'll ripple and look bad in the future. You need to wrap them behind the holes.
Hope that helps somewhat, it's really about getting your own experience working w/ the stuff though.

I just put the oem trunk spoiler on mine, never done the chrome lip in vinyl but have done numerous vinyl projects.

BTW OP, you're probably going to want to paint your trunk button, you can sand it & paint it or plasti-dip it, but leaving it chrome probably would look out of place on your CF lip.
