Subtle and love it! That trim has been bothering me since I got it a few weeks ago. Next up the fog light rings, maybe plastidip with the gloss spray as a topper.

3m 1080 gloss vinyl, took a couple of hours. A little nerve wracking but it stands up to the 10ft and 1ft test.

It really does make a big difference. I do prefer blacking out the trim on red and black Gs, but it really depends on what look you're going for.

I had a moonlight white and the trim looked good there, but not really on the red.

IMO, the window tint is what makes it work so well on your car.

Someone here on the forum has a red sedan that went the other direction with chromed 19" coupe rims. Also a good look, although I find myself surprised with that opinion.

Personally, I like chrome trim on my Moonlight White. Sniper27 would disagree, LOL. And the forum continues to spin.

Came out great, looks really nice on the red. Did you DIY or had someone do it?

Lmao, your posts be entertaining.

But, OP, good job doing a chrome delete on the window trim. My next to do list. Probably be nerve wrecking for me as well. But hey, experience at the finest.

Plan for wheels? Metallic Black? Graphite Shadow? Brushed lip with metallic black finish? Red is a lovely color

Did you do the chrome on the trunk? I would be curious to see that if you have.

I'm with you on that one. I originally planned to black out the chrome, but saw a couple of white G's in person with the blackout on the trim only and it really didn't move me. After owning the car for two years now I'm really glad I left it alone. I think you need to go the full route on white with no chrome and go with black or dark wheels, at least to suite my taste.

As for the red with blackout, that looks sweet!

I would do it color matched. Would look real good and flush.

Word. White goes well with chrome. Thats hands down. It can pull off silver and chrome without any doubt. Putting black on a white car would def have to be the roof and headlights to bring the slight aggressiveness but yet keep the class look.

Example: Benz C350 in White.

As for the red with blackout, that looks sweet!
