Guess what came home with me Monday
I just had to share with you all.
After lurking on the forums for almost a year, drooling over everyone's sedans on here, I was finally able to purchase my own.
2011 G37x w/ Premium Package
Love it!

That's not unusual, IMO. I was lurking well over a year before getting my 2011.
I take from this that the OP is a conscientious consumer, who makes long-term plans on the important things. Now, if he starts bemoaning the lack of a 6MT, big brakes or suspension performance... then maybe not. But I'm guessing he got exactly the car he set out to buy, so good for him.
Congrats, OP.

Yeah, at least a year. Been drooling over the car for even longer than that. Checking back I registered here back in Oct 2011 though.
As for mods, I've seen enough mods and results to the engine that I'll probably stay away as our engines are so fine tuned, adding CAI, exhaust, etc doesn't do much for performance vs. $$ spent.
Right now, I'm enjoying it for what it is, don't see anything wrong with the car. Love the look, love the growl. I might get tired of it as time passes and add a front lip or some plastidip. For now, it's perfect as it is.
Oh I've researched extensively before making the purchase! Really had my eyes on the 3 series and A4, along with a few others. But when it came down to it, they're very close in figures and features. What my final decision was based on was just the pure look of the car, there is nothing sweeter on the roads right now, I mean it.
