Pet Peeve - Drivers Sun Visor

OK - the board seems a little slow today...and I'm bored...so here is a pet peeve of mine...

What genius decided to put the 'finger slot' for the driver's side sun visor on the right side only?

It is the time of the year when I need to lower the visor on my way home after work...and I instinctively reach up with my left hand to lower the visor. I end up scratching and clawing at the visor - then put my left hand on the wheel and reach up with my right hand..

Minor annoyance...but still

On top of that, they switched sides from 1st gen G. It took quite a bit of effort to change that habit.

I like it. I drive with my left hand on the wheel and right hand free or on the gear shift when needed.
I wish that there was a little slider extension on the left end of the drivers visor. The sun inevitably pokes through that small gap between the A pillar and the visor. The right extension just gets in the way of the rear view mirror.

For six+ months now I've had this annoyance at how awkward it was to pull down that darn visor. And now I know.

Go figure.

I'd like to have a powered visor. Or better yet, if that section of the windshield could go from transparent to opaque and back again via switch and/or sensors, like those Transition Eyeglasses.

Um, next car maybe.
