Sounds like an excellent idea. I can wait till OCT. Gives more time to plan for mods and take it slow. I rather not rush and be patient with this. If they need more inventory, I rather have Top-Speed check all quality build and whatnot prior to selling them to their clients.

Got an update for you guys today.

Looks like there will be a Cap on the GB. That will be determined once the official GB thread is posted. Orders will be based on list and order of payment.

also, this is the news I got, "the new production exhaust are finished and packaged, loaded on 40 ft container now just waiting to fill up the empty spaces than will be taking slow boat to US"

Local Dallas area members CAN pick up the exhaust.

 

So will the list in this thread be transferred over to the new GB thread? I don't check any other sub-forums that much.

Most likely to be fair. What will also happen, will be that once the container has shipped, the 2 week window will open. Members on the list within the cap limit will have 1 week for payment, otherwise, their spot will be removed, the next member on the list will take the place, and a member not in the cap, will move up one position closer to the cap limit. This is to ensure that orders are filled and no one stalls. Example, if the member right outside the cap is ready to pay, and the number 1 person on the list overall doesnt pay, number 1 person overall will be removed and the list will move up one position. The member outside the cap now has the opportunity to pay and get in the GB. Everyone will HAVE TO go through me first. I will then pass info to TopSpeed. Anyone who bypasses this, will not get in on the GB price. This is to ensure no line cutting or sneakiness. This is not set in stone and subject to change. Im still working with them on these terms. Once everything is set, the GB thread will be started in the GB forum. The list, if transferred, will be there to show who has paid and the order of shipment.

My only concern is the list. Its best to get it transferred over. Reason being is no one will get a chance to miss out. But now your hitting over 30 people. You will need to find out through TopSpeed what estimate of a cap they are looking for to not get last comers their hopes up that quick.

But, I vote for transfer of list and the method you described. And 1 week for payment? To slow. I think move it to 3 days MAX. Either the person has it or doesnt. Because it makes no sense to wait 7 full days while other people have the money ready.

Appreciate your concern and offer to help but I think we have it under control. The reason for 7 full days is that in this day and age, people (including myself) do go on vacation or have other things going on where maybe I wont look at a computer for 3 days. Rare I know, but still. Time frame is to benefit everyone as well as leave time for members who bail and others to join in.
