New owner here...

Just picked up a 2011 G37S Sedan today and I've already had bad luck. A rock on the highway punctured my tired so I'm already rocking the black spare tire Keeping positive though because I'm loving this car in every way.

Welcome Tony Starks, G Sedans are amazing. The white looks super fresh, makes me re-think my black sometimes...

Looks like a very nice & clean G, do you have any mod plans for it?
Oh, and I'd ditch the SEWELL on the tail

Right away. The dealer will remove that for you. Surprised you took delivery with that nasty on the car.

Nice to see another MW S-Sedan without that little "x" in the configuration. Is that a Journey-Sport or 6MT?

Welcome and congratulations on your new ride! Things happen with cars but it sucks that happened so quickly. Here's to the future!

It's a Journey Sport, and yeah I'm going to take off the Sewell badges ASAP haha. Just got my tire replaced so all is well. First mods consist of wheels and a drop. I do have some questions if you guys can help me out.

1. Was planning on getting Tein S-techs, but I've searched and everyone said that the H&R springs drop a little lower? I'm confused because on the H&R website the specs says about a 1.4" drop compared to the 1.9" on the S-techs.

2. Wanted to get a set of the G37 coupe 19" wheels. I've seen pics of them on the Sedan and I love the look. I was wondering if spacers are required and what tire size would be suitable paired with either the S-techs/H&R?

Thanks for the help.

Welcome! Given the Sewell comments, you must be from around here. My work blocks your pix, but I will visit when I get home.

Where are you? Let me know if you need a hand with anything.

OP, your RWD Sport is already lower than the typical AWD version. I forget the specs... 5/8" maybe? I'm sure somebody here knows for sure.

But I get that some people really like that drop-ur-car fad that kids seem to do, and it's your car. Heck, even I would recommend going a little lower when putting 19's on the Sedan.

No spacers needed. But if you lower your car, you MAY want to consider getting some 10mm or 15mm just to push them out a bit so they fit flush. If you don't lower, they sit fine as is.

I was thinking the same. OP - let us know where you are located.

And by the way - why do so many people omit city/state from their profile? I mean...it doesn't ask for street address...just city/state. Can't be that much of a secret..is it?

I love my B&G S2 springs, a drop very similar to H&Rs, they're a semi progressive spring and the G handles very well w/ them. I'm on 20s so the ride is definitely firm, but very controlled. Here's a link if you're interested~
You can only order them if you enter 2008 Infiniti G35, the 2009+ models won't come up on the computer. The drop is a bit more in the front on 2009+ models since the 7AT weighs more than the 5AT. It's a great drop if you want an aggressive drop and you'll also need F&R camber arms and rear toe bolt kits. They have a 15% off code on the site & free shipping. I've had them for about 9 months and the drop hasn't moved a milimeter since they settled a week after install.

Here's a thread that shows the drop on my G (please go to the later pics, it was a work in progress, lol)
