The ECM is still learning but it sure does sound good when I get on it. More tame than I was expecting from past experience with other cars, though. I guess that's a testament to how loud the intake tract is on these cars stock.

Wanted it to look OEM to an untrained eye.

VHT engine enamel, baby... yeah, I'm bringing it back. honestly, ceramic coating was just too expensive for a part that wasn't seeing exhaust flow. VHT can handle temps up to 550 deg F... definitely capable enough for an intake.

It's the Takeda cold air intake (aFePower.com). Only mod I made to the kit was refinishing the polished aluminum tubes in satin black hi temp enamel. The filter is the standard one it comes with.
