Infiniti won't provide free loaner car for me - bought in Sep 2011

I'm in CA, need to do 3rd oil change, How funny I asked for oil change to be schedule on this Friday, but got a reply from dealer's service:
"we dont provide free loaner car for minor service, I can schedule you for service radius within 10 miles."

How lame..
I bought my G37 back Sep 2011, and past two oil changes 1st time got G37, 2nd time got G25, and this 3rd round... nothing>?...

That would pi$$ me off. Sewell Infiniti in Dallas gives me free loaners for any service, even oil changes when I bring the oil and filter with me! $32 in labor costs and I get a loaner for the day.

If I recall, they are obligated to give loaners for oil changes. Only for warranty work or major services. Anyways, oil changes takes an hour tops. I just wait for it.

I tried convince myself to be more understandable but my previous 2 times I got loaner without any questions.. hate to say BMW has better post customer service than infiniti

I have never received a loaner for just an oil change so normally what I would do is find some little warranty item to have them check when I get an oil change and then I would get a loaner.

I meant to say they are not obligated to give loaners for oil changes. they probably had loaners available on your previous 2 oil changes and gave them to you as a courtesy. but if they are out or booked for other customers for warranty work, then you are out of luck. in regards to your comment on BMW post customer service, you are probably right. I know I get much better post customer service with Audi.

Policy of my dealer is that any service over 1.5 hour you are eligible for free loaner. That was said at time of sale by the Service mgr.

I've never expected a loaner car for an oil change. I usually wait and it takes an hour or so including a car wash.

Now if I needed to get warranty work done, yes a loaner would be appropriate.

BMW and Audi have great customer service and are good about giving loaners only because they tend to break down & have more problems than our Infinitis.
Oil changes are quick, hang out and wait or do your own oil change and don't sweat the little things.
I would definitely not expect a loaner for just an oil change...unless of course you ask for Nissan Ester Oil?

They only gave me loaners for my first 2 oil changes as well.
Then when I asked for it they said they don't give out loaners on Saturday and for oil changes.

My only option is to wait 2 hours on a Saturday for the oil change.
Dropping it off after work on weekdays won't work for me as the dealer is located 40 mins away. How do I get home w/o a loaner?

For a luxury brand I'd expect more from them.

Sewell Infiniti in Dallas rocks! I've always had impeccable service from them and they go the extra mile to ensure that you're happy and satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone. Sewell does have a reputation for excellence. It's a shame that *ALL* dealerships can't follow the same business model.

go to a different dealer. West infiniti here in houston will give you a loaner for the entire day as long as you schedule an appointment.

Had this problem at Warren Henry Infiniti. I never went back to them. I always go to Sawgrass Infiniti where I purchased my car and I always get a loaner if I request 1. Some dealerships just have poor customer service. I just take my money elsewhere.
