My second G

I'm very excited. Later today I'm going back to dealer to pick up my G37s. I had a 2004 G35 awhile back but sold it to my dad. Drove a 08 TL for 3.5 years. Worst experience ever. FWD just plain sucks with a car this powerful. I was able to buy out my lease & sell it to a friend, pocketing 3k. I used that for my down payment on the 2012. Details:
G37s navigation, sport pak, splash guards, illuminated panels, paddle shifters. I chose the malbec black with dark interior. Had a hard time sleeping last night but it will be worth it upon delivery. I looked at a lot of cars & came to the conclusion that the G offers the best for the money. All the other cars are way overpriced. The Lexus 250/350 was an insult to a fully grown man as my body barely fit. I could open the passenger door without much of a reach.
I will try to get some pics as a follow up later this week if I can park it long enough. I'm glad to be back in the Infiniti family.

Malbec FTW. Got it on mine and love it. Congrats and I'm sure you'll enjoy the G even more the second time around, I know I am.

Welcome back, pretty cool selling your G to your dad, usually it's the dad doing the selling
Look forward to pics and any mod plans you may have.

Yes I have been out driving & fully enjoying my new ride. As someone who prefers performance over comfort, I really am glad I chose the sport package. This G handles well & seems like it tracks on rails. Speed bumps are handled better than any of my previous cars due to the tighter suspension. I just got the car out of the tint shop, thus the delay with pictures. Maybe this weekend.
I love the color. The graphite interior is a perfect match. I find the sport seats a little tight on the butt but maybe they will break in a bit over time. As you can imagine, my fuel economy is going to be at the lowest point on my first tank of gas due to a heavy right foot. All of you should understand why I got that evil grin back every time I push the gas pedal. Wow, what a rush. I am a happy camper.

You think it handles well with the sport package... put some KW coil overs on it.

Ha! I can imagine. I haven't even poped the hood yet. Too busy reading the manuals trying to understand all the controls. It's a lot to absorb.
I'll hit you up if I decide to go that route as you are kind of local to me.

I bought mine from, and had them installed by, Lou at Amplified Motorsports. He has a G of his own, he knows what he is doing and he was extremely fair on the price.

He is a vendor here. When you're ready, Id recommend sending him a PM.

I also had an 04G35x, now I have an 09XS. Its so much better, that evil grin will stick around for a long time. Good luck with it.

Some pictures. All I added was the radar. Going to polish & add a synthetic protection when I get my garage back. Loving the color more each day (& night).
