Don't get me wrong - it's not horrible. I've had worse (the ones in my 99 540 and 01 X5 come to mind!). But I don't think it lives up to it's specs...

Some insight to my home system: Paradigm P90's and CC350 (older - but I still love them) along with a Velodyne HGS 12.

I don't expect THAT sound level nor clarity - but I still think the system is a bit soft on power and high/low end. Just my opinion.
I like the drivers sound stage, it's a cool feature. However, I turn it on and off depending on the type of music.

So really, it's just not worth it.
The most comfortable seats I ever sat in were in my friends Volvo. Nice - incredibly nice!

LOL - I might have done that in the past (previous cars) - by accident!

I wish Infniti had the sound system from Acura. Test drove the TL and TSX. While I didn't like the styling of the car, the sound system was amazing.

I really like the seats in my friends 08 C63 AMG. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. They 'hug' you without being too firm in places.
I like my sport seats a lot and (for me) they are much nicer than the seats my 07 G35X had.

Just to clarify, the 300M seats were in no way "sport" buckets. They were the exact opposite of that. My comment there was in comfort over fitment. Kind of like the seats in the 7th gen Maxima. The type of seats that make you go, "Ahh-h-h-h..." as you settle in.

The G's sports seats are not that. Not at all. But they do grip you like a perfectly fitted baseball-glove, and that has it's own rewards. IMO.

And somehow this turned into a discussion about car seats. Sorry, OP.

Seat happens.

Well - I got caught in the hail storm while at the office (Irving TX) - bad bad bad. About 25 dents all over the car - and the back window smashed from hail. I almost wanted to cry...

That's where the tornadoes hit today! which of course you already know.

In that context, it could have been much worse. Not that you feel any better, but damn... that sucks. Brand new car.

Sorry, OP.

I agree about the Bose. I had a 2010 sedan and its standard system was far better than the "premium" in the 2012 I got a few weeks ago. A very bad mark on an otherwise great car. Cant believe I assumed it would be good and didnt put IT through the paces, but instead focused on the difficult stuff to get right.

I can't say I agree the "standard" system is better. My loaner cars had the "standard" system, the Bose is way better. In addition, try playing a high quality DVD in the Bose system, the sound is pretty darn good.

Sorry to hear about the car Malbec, thats rough man. The car is BRAND new?? OUCH... I hear ya ( no pun intended) G37guy on the quality scource idea.. I am onto that next, I'm sure you right and it will be better, and also from the IPOD or hard drive once I rip MP3's to it. I just wanted to take the sat signal and FM radio as far as I could first. If the IPOD or CD are better, than fine because here in Jersey the stations absolutely are horrible anyway,LOL. Thanks for the input.
