Here to say goodbye.
Here to say goodbye.
Hello guys,
Sadly I am here to say goodbye. I finally traded my 09 G37 Journey Sedan with Prem + Nav in for a fully loaded (Touring + Sports + Nav) 2009 370Z 6MT with 30K miles. Even though I no longer have an Infiniti, I am still with the Nissan family so all is good.
Sure, the Z is noisier and rougher but more fun and a bit faster. I am still getting used to the manual transmission but so far so good. It's more fun to drive and now I can decide how to shift this beauty, rather than let the 7AT do the job.
I've attached 2 pictures for those who'd say "Pics or this didn't happen" lol.
Cars that I've considered: G37S 6MT, Z4, Mustang, S2000, RSX-S, and G35 Coupe 6MT.
On a side note, I still have a set of sports rims and PSS tires with TPMS for sale. I prefer local pickup around Houston area only.

Congrats...as long as you know what you are getting into, you will love the Z. I had a 2003 350Z and loved driving that car. I just wasn't driving it much anymore and needed a sedan to take customers out so I switched to a G37X sedan.
Have fun with it...

He's still part of the Nissan family
. I'm considering a 6MT g37 sedan for my next car or a 370z 6mt. All the parts can transfer over so i'm very tempted...
My best friend's Z is the one that made me want one, BAD. Monterry Blue is also the best color.

The reason I traded the G in was because it's a sports sedan which means it's OK at everything, but does not excel at anything. Plus the road noise becomes an issue for me. So I figured I'd go with a pure sports car and have all the fun I can whenever I drive it. The G37S Coupe is a bit quieter but also heavier and slower. One thing I didn't tell you guys is that I am also looking to buy either a 2005 Lexus ES330 or 2008 Camry as a daily driver. It's like having a set of summer tires and a set of dedicated snow tires
Probably not anytime soon lol
Yep, I think I am not ready for those yet
. If anything, I'll probably pick up the new GS350 rather than the M37. Sorry, it might not be what Infiniti enthusiasts want to hear but man, the new GS350 looks so nice, specially the front and the interior. The rear IMO doesn't look as good, but I am sure Lexus will make it look better with some mid-life cycle updates 3 years from now.
No mods planned yet. I am still enjoying shifting and the raw power. It's plenty fast for my needs for now.
