Here to say goodbye.
The reason I traded the G in was because it's a sports sedan which means it's OK at everything, but does not excel at anything. Plus the road noise becomes an issue for me. So I figured I'd go with a pure sports car and have all the fun I can whenever I drive it. The G37S Coupe is a bit quieter but also heavier and slower. One thing I didn't tell you guys is that I am also looking to buy either a 2005 Lexus ES330 or 2008 Camry as a daily driver. It's like having a set of summer tires and a set of dedicated snow tires
Regardless, I could definitely see owning a Z if it wasn't my daily driver... I thought the G37S 6MT was a good compromise if I could own only one nice car, even though, like you said, it doesn't fully excel at either sport or luxury. I think owning a Lexus and a Z is a good combination if you can own two nice cars.
My personal preference is to own one nice sports sedan, and one beater.
