Snap, crackle, pop
Who else's G drives them crazy with plasticky snaps, crackles and pops?
Aside from the rear centre speaker and housing that makes an unnecessary noise every time you cross a perpendicular ridge on the road, the rest all seem to be dash, centre console and instrument cluster related.
Are there known cures for the most common ones? The lacklustre service from the stealerships means there is no hope they will do anything about them.

pretty much do what the dealership would do, Isolate where it is coming from, then jam a felt pad in it.

my roof lining near the rear sunroof always makes a sound when i hit some bumps. sounds like tape or something trying to stick together. pretty annoying especially since ive only been driving this car for a few months.
mine squeaks, rattles, creaks in the center console, passenger door area, dash, and rear parcel with the Bose speaker. drives me bananas.

Rarely have passengers. When I do, I don't notice any rattles or squeaks aside from when I lean on the console.
my console makes noise when you push on the chrome trim on the drivers side, but never while driving so I don't worry about it. My only complaint is the headliner, If it wasn't such a pain to pull I'd just take it down myself and cover it in some dynomat.
I had that after a week i bought the car. Took it back to the dealer and they ripped the headliner off and put some insulation in. Haven't made a creak there since. Just everywhere else now. lol
I had a Toyota Tundra limited before the G, 33" E rated BFG TA KO's and leveling shocks/spring pack made the interior rattle quite a bit from the stiff ride. Those little felt pads work wonders though. It's tough sometimes to isolate where it is coming from, but when you do, tear it apart and stick a few on the contact spots and it's nice and quiet again.
If mine starts making a lot of noises after a while I'll probably wind up making a project of it and sound deadening the car using MLV and CLD titles:

Squeaks and rattles are pretty common in almost all cars these days...with the use of more plastics over the last 30 years it's almost impossible to be 100% squeak or rattle free.
Almost every car I have had in the last 20-25 years has had some sort of squeak or rattle. Didn't matter if the car cost $20k or $50k.
About the only cars I have not heard squeaks or rattles in have been my parent's Mercedes...neither of they're cars have any squeaks or rattles.
