Fast Intentions true dual CBE *AWD* version

YES! Tony@FI makes true dual CBE for the X.
They are custom made to order in the USA.
I just placed an order for AWD sedan CBE with custom 2.5" piping / new version x-pipe with 18" resonator / polished muffler & tips

currently the wait is about 10-12 weeks!!! but it will be so worth it.

in case any one of you missed VossenG37's new F/I CBE video, pls check them out.

https://www.myg37.com/forums/intake-...s-baby-12.html

If you have a question, definately give him a call @ (818) 882-2788.
Tony will assist you, & explain in details of his work & product.

I am one super satisfied customer. Sorry for no pix until June. LOL

currently i do have Berk HFC + Tanabe axle back.
Hopefully, there will be less rasp paired up with F/I CBE. If it doesn't cure, i'm getting Resonated HFC from F/I.

I need to get on a time machine fast forward 90 days LOL

Is it the HFC that causes the rasp?

yes it's the HFC. Test pipes does create more rasp than HFC.
Rasp is there at certain high RPMs especially when you WOT.
Other than rasp, HFC sounds amazingly better and louder than stock CAT.

VossenG37S, since you had both, what's the big difference between the fast intentions and the Tanabe exhaust systems? I really don't want a very loud exhaust, just a slightly more aggressive stock note when I get on it.

why 2.5"?? Tony usually runs the sedans with 2.25" helps to cut down on drone, and it breathes more than enough. Ive got the Resonated HFC in 2.25 and the Catback in 2.25 and its smooth as butter, no drone on the hwy and zero rasp even when cold.

Don't know the exact reason, but I was told my Stillen CBE runs 2.5" pipe. Maybe it's an aftermarket thing to get a more aggressive tone. Isn't stock 2.25"?

stock is a mishmosh of different size piping, it goes from 2" in some places down to 1" back by the exhaust.

The stillen is 2.5" although alot of people complain that system has alot of drone. the bigger the piping the more drone you're going to get. i had 3" on my mustang and it was like driving a boat on the highway.
