Trunk not opening with key or button on trunk?

Just read that your battery on your keyfob is low. That would cause intermittent issues.

yes my battery is definitely low on my key. i have not changed it since owning the car and i got in dec 2009. maybe the low battery had something to do with the problem I noticed this morning. if the key is on you (in your pocket) you should be able to open doors lock doors trunks ect

I can open my trunk via the button on the trunk lid with the car running. I do it all the time. Im not sure about the button on the keyfob though.

no one can pop the trunk up while the car is on unless he has the key with him and pushes the button within less than a meter range from the button..
