Intelligent Cruise Control

I very rarely use the intelligent cruise control but did tonight. Was wondering if the brake lights come on when it brakes to slow down? If it does, does it do it even with minor braking?

Anytime the brake is applied by the system, yes, the lights come on

Interesting…I would assume that. With cruise set at 65mph and behind someone running 60 it felt as it would brake…Not uncomfortable
I couldn’t really tell if it went into a brake mode or coast. I would hate to be running looking like I have the flashers on.
Thx
