Just recently my red dash light has been flashing when I shut off my car. Changed the battery in my fob but the light still flashes till I shut the door. It is not flashing once the car is started. The manual says something about a steering lock malfunction, but have no problem with that. Anyone experience this?

Have you taken the car to the dealer?

 

Spoke with the service dept at the Infinit dealer, said it is most likely the battery in the fob and that it can take up to 24 hours to reset itself. We'll see.

battery is dying. check the user manual for the exact size. I picked up a pair at radio shack.

Just out of curiosity...where is your spare FOB?

 

battery on the fob shouldnt be too hard - "Recommended battery: CR2032 or
equivalent."

 

Replaced the battery on my fob but forgot about my wifes. Replaced hers and the dash warning has now cleared. Thanks.
